A 32-year-old Melbourne man died near Batesville Sunday morning when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a rocky cliff, according to Arkansas State Police Trooper Jeremy Hughes.

In his report, Hughes said that around 6 a.m. Corey D. Masson was driving his 2006 Chevrolet south on Highway 69 near Limedale Road when he failed to negotiate a curve.

Masson then reportedly lost control of his car, left the roadway and struck the rocky bluff.

Visitation for Corey is April 28 with burial on April 30 in Melborne.
